Well, E3 has come and gone. I can say it’s the best E3 I’ve ever seen. Despite the Microsoft controversies, piss poor Wii-U showing and my not being there, this E3 was spectacular. So spectacular and magnificent that I don’t really have anything to write about this week. So, I’m just gonna write and see what happens.
Well, Mirror’s Edge is back. I still can’t fully believe it. Maybe that’s why I’ve watched the trailer 73 times. Let it be known that that is not a joke. I counted because I thought it would be funny. Little did I know how many times the trailer would be viewed. Over and over again, I watched and watched this trailer void of gameplay. Yet, I love it unconditionally. So much, that I’ve started on a new project. Hopefully, I can give this thing I love so much justice. So please stay tuned for that in the coming days.
Beyond that, I think it’s interesting how Microsoft is treating the reactions to their DRM. They just don’t care. They don’t care at all. It’s pretty astounding. It seems as if the whole industry is yelling at them, and they just shrug it all off.
I can’t see how they could possibly keep the DRM in place as it is now with all the criticism it receives. Developers hate it, gamers hate it and publishers aren’t saying anything about it. It’ll be interesting to see how things progress from here.
Well, it’s late, so this is all I got for tonight. Next week, the rumor train shall get back on the rails. And believe me, my friends, it will be glorious. Until then, stay beautiful.
