GoN Comic: Family Values

I’m a sports fan, and as such I get to constantly hear all the reasons coaches and players decided to unexpectedly leave their teams. The number one reason is typically because they want to spend time with their families. I figured, why can’t video game executives and creators do the same? Ol’ Mr. Molyneux has likely put more work into his virtual child than the mere addition of DNA any of us can offer into real children. So, wouldn’t that make Milo more valid? No… I didn’t think so either. Also, he can’t catch a football for shit.

Maybe without the constraints of a crazy schedule tied to holidays or quarterly reports we can see what Peter has been promising us for years. I’m hoping that’s kind of his reason for moving on. He’s got a lot of really good ideas. He says a lot of super inspiring things. But then you play Fable 3 and kind of feel duped. I don’t think that’s ever been his intention. Microsoft was likely strangling his creativity, and now he’s taken measures to make sure that no longer happens. Godspeed, you crazy fuck.

This is a smart comic for a smart crowd. Smart.

Except Peter Molyneux is British, so you have him throwing that rugby ball all wrong. It is a rugby ball right? It’s entirely the wrong shape for football (which has a spherical ball), a game played by kicking the ball with your foot. Foot-ball
